Our 1st Valentine Celebration

We had our early celebration on the 4th Feb'08 at Thai Accent located at Vivo City. The food served were delicious. Although the price is a bit expensive but since we seldom eat in a good restaurant , I don't mind paying for it.

I've planned to give a single sweet pink rose bouquet when I met her at her house but I was unable to take a bus to her house since it was evening time (which means traffic jams period). So I decided to tell her to meet me at the restaurant and passed it to her upon her arrival. 1 set of 11 red roses bouquet was hidden inside the restaurant as I wished to give her after the dinner for surprising her.

Things planned very last minute. I met my friend Kah Wah for shopping on the Thursday as she was still preparing for her exam and then we head down to Park Mall. He recommended me a florist over there. I like her bouquet design so I decided to get the bouquets from her. Although the price a little expensive but I hope to give something really nice for her since it was my first time giving flowers. Then on Sat, I met Wanru and we giving each other ideas on celebrating the Valentine day and gift. And he gave me an idea of going to the Thai Accent for dinner.

On the actual day, I met my Dear after my NUS talk and her Foreign Studies talk. We went to eat at Paradize center food court as she wanted to look for music book for her cousin. We shared the nasi lemak from there. It was nice. After that, I told her to that I need to go Suntec to exchange money for the trip to her hometown. I quickly went off the Suntec and exchange the money. It was a long queue when I had arrived the shop. After that, I went down to Park Mall and collect the bouquets.

I immediately went down to Vivo city and pass the 11 roses bouquet to the Thai Accent counter and then went home for a bath and take photos of the single sweet pink rose. I had spent a lot on taking cab to the Vivo City, back to home and to the Vivo City again. I didn't count how much I had spent but I believed I had spent about $30 on cab.

After the dinner, we went for a movie, 27 Dresses, at 9.10pm. The show was a good one, the story told about how a girl looking forwards to wedding and how she looks at it. A story is simple and straight forward. The show ends about 11.30pm and we took bus back to her home and I took cab again back to my home.

I hope she will enjoy the celebration although I didn't really well plan. Hope I will have a better plan next year...
